Dominion have been awarded the new contract at 75 Victoria St, Auckland City. The site will become a new 24 storey apartment and retail complex in the heart of Auckland City. Opposite the Sky Tower, Victoria Residences is made up of a concrete structure with precast, structural steel, reinforcing, piling, floor slabs, back propping/Shore loading, rib/infill flooring and precast cladding panels to the façade.

The site is well known within Auckland due to an old historical building, once situated there, being condemned and demolished by Auckland City Council. This resulted in a lot of ‘Unknowns’ as the constructor. Dominion have successfully progressed the ground works whilst uncovering numerous obstructions along the way.

The completed building height will be 80 metres made up of approx. 25,000 m2 precast concrete panels and approx. 4,000 m³ of concrete. The roof feature alone will be 6 metres in height.

Dominion will have its own MR225 Tower Crane on site. This crane can reach the full site and will be used for all aspects of the job.
