SUDIMA HOTEL

Dominion was the main contractor in the construction of this 153 room hotel in Airport Oaks. The building comprises six storeys, with facilities including a restaurant and kitchen, bar, conference facilities and indoor swimming pool and gym.

Of solid concrete construction, including roof, the walls are precast panels honed and decoratively cut for texture that were erected with the windows already installed. A key feature of the structure is the pair of precast fins at the end of the building with a punched metal screen attached that provides a distinctive leaf pattern, especially effective at night.

Sudima Hotel has utilised environmental technology to reduce maintenance and running costs by integrating chilled beams for air-conditioning and LED technologies for lighting.
