GILTRAP MCLAREN SHOWROOM

This project was a Precision Fitout within an existing building incorporating custom made componentry originating in Europe and an upgrade to the existing Workshop facility at the rear of the building.

The 250m2 “Boutique” Showroom was created for an iconic car brand and was the 50th McLaren Dealership, Worldwide. It was opened to coincide with the 50th Anniversary of McLaren Racing Ltd, founded by NZ Racing Legend Bruce McLaren.

Complex setout to minimal tolerances were required to ensure that tiling, cabinetry & ceiling joints lined up in all vertical and horizontal planes. This was made more challenging by the fact that the existing building was out of square in all directions!
