BUNNINGS AVONDALE TRADE CENTRE

The scope of this project was the conversion of an existing commercial building (previously the Cadbury chocolate factory) into a Bunnings trade centre in an 11 week timeframe. A total of 8 insitu columns were pre-cast on site along with the installation of 15 pre-cast panels for a fire wall on the northern boundary (a critical task which was achieved a week ahead of schedule). A Dominion crane lifted shutters into place prior to the concrete pour with timber shutters used internally and steel shutters used externally.
