THE BOTANIC RETIREMENT VILLAGE, SILVERDALE

The Dominion Structures team has been engaged to complete staged work at the Botanic Retirement Village in Silverdale for our client Mako.

Nikau Apartments:

Firstly the Nikau Apartments (block F) comprises of approximately 4500m2 across a basement carpark and four upper levels of apartments (32 in total). Dominion Structures team completed the concrete works package, placing all the precast panels, precast balcony slabs, fast tread stairs and using Dominion’s doka30 falsework for forming the PT slabs.  Completion of this stage was November 2022.

Eastern Villas:

The second package of work was The Eastern Villas which comprises of 6 duplex and triplex villas. The apartments range in size from 300m2 – 200m2 and make up one of the many residential buildings in the development. PT slabs & doka formwork as part of the scope for these beautiful villas.  Completion of this stage was April 2023.

Rimu Building:

The Rimu Building consists of 32 apartments spread over 4 & 5 levels, this is a very similar building to Nikau Building.   Our team is completing the structural package for this stage (14) which consists of large-scale rib raft foundation construction, insitu basement walls, precast walls insitu columns, post tension suspended slabs and insitu stair former components for the stair wells.

Currently in progress and expected completion is July 2024.
